OUI
From Oracle FAQ
OUI (Oracle Universal Installer) is a program used to install Oracle software and database options.
Getting started[edit]
To start OUI on Unix/ Linux systems:
./runInstaller
To start OUI on Windows:
setup.exe
Command line options[edit]
To ignore system prerequisites:
./runInstaller -ignoreSysPrereqs
Install non-interactively (no GUI):
./runInstaller -silent -responseFile=<path to response file>
Response files[edit]
Response files can be set-up or recorded for doing "silent" non-interactive installs. This is handy when installing on servers without a GUI or for automating the instll process.
